We left Fremantle in the morning and made our way along the coast to the last stop of this trip: Busselton.

Along the way we stopped in Mandurah to see the Giants, large wooden sculptures created by Thomas Dambo. The Danish artist uses recycled wood to build these larger-than-life statues and places them all over the world. Four of them can be found via a treasure hunt. Once you found all of these and collected the symbols on the statues the Mandurah Visitor Centre helps you find a hidden giant.

From Mandurah we continued down the coast through wooded areas and wide pastures. This part of Western Australia is completely different from what we saw up North- the countryside here is lush and green and in August we found it full of flowers.

For the next three days we had rented a holiday home in Busselton close to the beach. We arrived at our accommodation in early evening. After settling in we walked along the beach to Shelter Brewing right across the Busselton Jetty for dinner.
