Bondi Beach & Dinner Cruise

on

After a good days (and nights) sleep K is feeling much better today. But nonetheless we decided not to do too much walking. So instead of doing the Bondi – Coogee walk up the coast we took the bus to Bondi beach and stayed there enjoying the wonderful soft sand and the incredible views from the lookout point South of the beach. There are no whales at this time of year but the view is spectacular!

Even though the air was quite cold as in Australia it’s winter time there were lots of surfers challenging the waves.

Bondi is definitely worth the trip even when it’s too cold to go swimming!

In the evening we had a dinner cruise booked that left from Darling Harbour. The boat went around the bay passing under the Harbour bridge and around the Opera offering the famous view that you don’t get from the shore side.

The cruise was okay, dinner was good but there was this annoying photographer who kept going around wanting to take pictures. I would do things differently next time and just take the ferry to Manly instead of booking a dinner cruise but the rest of the family decided in unison that the cruise was worthwhile the money spent.
